ResourceCycle (Hubei) New Materials Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 10 million yuan, and the production project with an annual output of 5,000 tons of high-purity recycled DMT and 1,600 tons of ethylene glycol has officially settled in Huanggang.

This project is China's first R-DMT (recycled dimethyl terephthalate) production project based on self-developed technology, marking a major breakthrough for ResourceCycle in the industrialization of waste plastic chemical recycling. The project is located in Huanggang Chemical Industry Park, which will fully utilize the superior location conditions and industrial supporting resources of the area.

Main construction content of the project:

• 5,000 tons/year R-DMT production plant
• 1,600 tons/year ethylene glycol production plant
• Supporting warehousing, logistics, environmental protection and other facilities

The project is expected to start construction in the second half of 2024 and be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2025. After completion, it will become the largest chemical waste plastic recycling DMT production base in China, with an annual output value exceeding 300 million yuan and creating more than 200 jobs.

The successful landing of this project will vigorously promote the development of China's waste plastic chemical recycling industry and lay a solid foundation for Huanggang City to build a green new material industry base.
