Deep Integration of Industry, Academia, and Research
Recently, the signing ceremony for the university-enterprise joint laboratory of the Zhejiang University Yangtze River Delta Smart Oasis Innovation Center was held in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. ResourceCycle (Hangzhou) New Materials and Zhejiang University jointly established the Zhejiang University Smart Oasis-ResourceCycle Green Carbon Joint Research Center, which was officially signed and unveiled at the event.
Jiang Haiyang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiaxing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Jiashan County Party Committee, Zhou Jianghong, Vice President of Zhejiang University, leaders of the four major teams of the county including Zhang Xifeng, Qian Xueqin, Gu Xinyu, and Cao Huiming, experts from the science and innovation platform in Jiashan, relevant departments of Jiashan County, street and town leaders, and representatives of relevant enterprises attended the conference. Lin Weilian, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Zhejiang University Yangtze River Delta Smart Oasis Innovation Center, Fan Xiaohui, Director, and all members of the center's leadership team attended the conference.
Four Joint Research Centers to Build an Innovation Ecosystem
At the signing ceremony for the university-enterprise joint laboratory, the Smart Oasis Innovation Center signed agreements with 4 companies including ResourceCycle (Hangzhou) New Materials Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhouming Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Dongbo Construction Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Zhongyang Storage Technology Co., Ltd. to establish joint research centers or laboratories.
This time, the two parties have established the Green Carbon Joint Research Center with complementary advantages, and will jointly invest over 10 million yuan within a 3-year cooperation period, relying on the technical teams of relevant advantageous disciplines of Zhejiang University, further introducing and strengthening the talent team, and planning to build a provincial and municipal key laboratory.
Breaking Through "Bottleneck" Technologies
The Green Carbon Joint Research Center will focus on key technology research and complete set process development for green recycled new materials, through the innovation of new technologies and processes, committed to breaking through the mass production of a series of "bottleneck" key refined green recycled new material monomers, breaking foreign technology monopolies, and contributing to the national dual carbon strategy.
